Students will learn the maintenance, overhaul, repair, and adjustment of residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration units. Students will use specialized tools of the trade, understand the theory and application of the basic principles of cooling, air, electrical fundamentals, and controls, and diagnose unit malfunction. Understanding “Green Building Technology.”  The course will prepare students for job opportunities as HVAC installers (commercial, residential), HVAC technicians (Level 1), and commercial maintenance technicians. 

Certifications Earned: HVAC Certificate of Completion, OSHA 10,  EPA 608, and Green Certification.
