AGENDAS AND MINUTES

  • Governing Board agenda posts on our website are provided as a courtesy 72 hours before a meeting. Please refer to the meeting agenda for times for any scheduled Work Study Session, Closed Session, or Open Session, and the board meeting location.

    Please be aware that as of November 2015, paper copies of agendas are no longer available prior to board meetings. If you wish to follow along with the schedule, please use your preferred electronic device or print a copy of the agenda before arrival using the Agenda Online link below.

    ONLINE AGENDAS AND MINUTES

    ANNOUNCEMENT: We are excited to announce that we are transitioning our online agenda platform from GAMUT to Diligent. To ensure a smooth transition and allow our members to familiarize themselves with the new system, we provided both the GAMUT and the Diligent versions of this month's board meeting agenda. This soft launch into Diligent will offer you the opportunity to experience the platform firsthand.

    Once approved by the Board at a subsequent meeting, minutes of that meeting are incorporated into the agenda for that meeting.

    UPCOMING BOARD MEETINGS

    Agendas are posted 72 hours before a regular board meeting. 

    Board meetings are held in person at the Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) Auditorium, room 201. Please refer to the specific agenda for the Board Meeting location.

    PUBLIC COMMENTS: 

    Please fill out a Citizen’s Request to Speak card prior to the start of the Governing Board Meeting, whether you are attending the meeting in person or via Zoom.

    • To comment by video conference, click the “Raise Your Hand” button to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda item. You will then be unmuted, during your turn, and allowed to make public comments. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted.     • To comment by phone, you will be prompted to “Raise Your Hand” by pressing “*9” to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda Item. You will then be unmuted, during your turn, and allowed to make public comments. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted.     • To comment in person, If you would like to address the Board on any item on this agenda, please complete the Citizens Request to Speak form located here prior to the start of the Governing Board Meeting. On the form, please list the agenda item(s) you would like to speak to. When your name is called, please raise your hand, state your name and address for the record, and limit your remarks to two minutes. Those speaking on items not on the agenda will be recognized by the Chair under Public Comments. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes (BB 9323).

    Additional Public Comment Information:

    At the discretion of the Board President, speaker cards may be accepted after the start of the agenda item. 

    Your name will be called, and you will either come to the podium to speak or be unmuted during your turn and be allowed to make public comments. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted. 

    Individual speakers are asked to limit their comments to no more than two (2) minutes for individuals and five (5) minutes for organizations unless the Board decides otherwise. There are up to 20 minutes of public comment allowed on each agenda item. With Board consensus, the President may increase or decrease the time allowed. This meeting is being recorded to prepare the official minutes.

    To comply with the Brown Act, the Board may listen to comments from the speakers under "Public Comment" but can neither discuss nor take action on the issues presented.
